Irit Galmor

Irit Galmor designs original and colorful jewelry and Judaica. Her creations are made of a combination of hand-crafted metals, Fimo modeling clay and colorful crystals. Her creations are sold in tourist stores and galleries in Israel and abroad.

Irit spent grew up on Kibbutz Givat Brenner and continues to be inspried by the fields, flowers and peacocks from her childhood. Irit’s parents were also artists, and they introduced her to various materials, such as Fimo. When Irit left the kibbutz, she began to make and sell her own creations. She travelled around the world, designing and selling her jewelry and ornaments along the way.

Irit was one of the first artists in Nahalat Binyamin in Tel Aviv, and for a decade had a stand there, where she sold items – made of Fimo, of course. Most of her designs were miniature animals and humorous figurines that were sold individually or incorporated into door plaques and other items.

In the next stage of her artistic career, Irit designed promotional items for various companies and started giving Fimo classes to children.

After she married Moshe, he and Irit became more religious and she began to channel her love for Judaism into her art.

In recent years Irit has designed a line of Judaica products, including magnificent Chanukah menoras, dreidls, mezuzah covers and wall ornaments. She also continues to makes jewelry that women love to wear.

In 2013 Irit moved to Nofim with her family and built a studio and gallery beside her home.

Irit invites you to visit her studio (by advance arrangement) and learn more about her creations.
