Hava Bakfar horse ranch is at the entrance to the community Ma’ale Shomron, about 10 minutes’ drive from Kfar Sava, at the entrance of Wadi Kana, one of the important tourism sites in this region.

The team of professional, qualified instructors and horsemen at the ranch offers many activities to the local residents and visitors

Horseback tours through the scenic countryside are offered year round. Each tour is tailored for the age and experience of the riders: there are also horseback tours of one or two hours, and pony rides for children

The ranch has ample visitor parking, shaded areas for rest and relaxation, an enclosed area for riding lessons and riding therapy, well-maintained stables are  of for pleasure and therapeutic riding.

The ranch is a popular venue for birthday parties and special corporate events. During the summer children’s day-camp activities are also held here.

Students in our Western style riding classes are the only students from this region who participate in Israel Quarter Horse Association competitions in Israel.

Hava Bakfar is recognized by the social welfare services and the HMOs for providing subsidized riding therapy to physically or mentally challenged children and adults.

Our horses are treated with lots of love and affection and are examined by a professional every day. The horses are trained and exercised regularly, to keep them healthy and in top condition for their work, and go out to graze as a herd, in order to make sure they are content and happy to provide their services to adults and children alike.
