Tsreda Ruins

Tsreda Ruins

Tsreda Ruins are down the hill to the south of Peduel.

At the end of a marked trail that starts in Peduel are the ruins of a city dated to the Israelite kingdom period, with cisterns and a water drainage system that brings the rain from the surrounding cliffs into the cisterns. This was apparently the city of Yerovam ben Navat, the first king of the divided kingdom (late 10th century BCE).
